 Falcon Properties started in the early 50’s as a commercial and residential real estate company in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Elias Masri built this company owning, selling and leasing commercial and residential real estate properties, introducing to Argentina a new way of doing business that included build to order, bundle packages of amenities, and exchange payments.
This family business grew into one of the most successful and profitable businesses in the market, and its success was based on a tradition of honesty, hard work and a true commitment to customer satisfaction.
In the 70’s a number of stockholders started investing in commercial real estate in Manhattan, buying buildings in the garment district, mostly in serious need of repairs with the vision of investing the time and money into the rehabilitation of these buildings, maintaining their historical and architectural features, and transforming them into up-to-date, state of the art office space that focus on lighting, good quality materials and the best services to tenants.
As an expansion of his Argentinean affiliate Mr. Masri set up Falcon Properties in Manhattan in order to administer and manage the leasing of the newly acquired buildings.
The offering of small office space addressed a niche in the market, for startup companies, fashion designers, and technology based companies, that want a location in the fashionable garment district of Manhattan and that remains the bulk of our tenant base.
Over the years Falcon grew in size, square footage managed and transaction value, and today in addition to the expanding leasing market, the company focuses on the purchasing and selling of commercial buildings in Manhattan.
